Grafica Flextronica, a leading manufacturer and exporter of screen printing machines and allied equipment. The production facility is located in a distant Mumbai north-western suburb, over 60 kms from the main city. The facility is specialised in the manufacture of a wide range of state-of-the-art screen printing machines and allied products.
These include: semi automatic (Camshell, Nano-Print, Nano-Print plus, 2-Post Pillar type) and fully automatic screen printing machines (high speed cylinder presses - both swing and stop type), AccuSpeed (especially for printing on thick substrates like sunpack and sunboards), UV curing machine - heavy duty and compact range/IR/Jet air dryers, Wicket dryers and complete range of screen making set up (fabric stretching, emulsion coating, screen exposing, screen drying unit, etc).
Grafica has also introduced a combination package Nano-Premier League (NPL) and NPL plus:
NPL consists of Nano-Print (semi automtic screen printing machine 15" x 20"), Nano-UV (12" or 18"), Nano-Screen Maker 5-in-1 (comprises of fabric stretcher unit, emulsion coating unit, screen dryer, screen exposing with metal helide lamp, screen touch up table (to make perfect screens which is the heart of screen printing), accessories such as coating trough, tension meter, aluminum frames, Nano-Sharpener (to sharpen the squeegee rubber which is the heart of screen printing machine).
Training and education: Grafica places lot of emphasis on training and education and houses a full-fledged training institute committed to deliver quality screen printing professionals in the country. The in-house training and research institute, Dhirubai Mistry Institute For Print Education, Research & Training (DMI), is advantageously with in the premises of Grafica. Grafica is a pioneer in taking screen printing education to the doorsteps of screen printers who do not usually come out of shells - through a unique video film Screen on Screen. 15 cities were covered under this film, thus benefiting nearly 2000 screen and offset printers with knowledge on value addition.
Screen printing offers special effects like glitter, bubble, wrinkle, sand, texture, touch-rub-smell, and many raised effects, etc. When these effects are printed on the substrate they make a strong appeal to the customer and the customer perceives the product as being expensive.
